The car rental cost does not include insurance. However, you will get third-party liability coverage. Depending on the car group, you will be liable to pay an amount ranging from SAR 1,500 to SAR 3,000 if you are involved in a car accident that is your mistake. There is no liability if it isn't your fault.
We recommend getting the Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) for long rental periods for an additional charge, that can reduce the insurance excess to zero. The CDW cost depends on the car type. For instance, CDW for Chevrolet Spark starts from SAR 20 per day and SAR 50 per day for Lexus ES 350.
